gd morning glory..

seeing the dark sky lights up is one of the nicest thing to see (:

anyway, i was reading some news online when i came across the 'founding wheel'.
for those who dont know whats that, try guessing.
guess. come on guess.
if ur answer was : a cradle (literally) where desperate mums can legally abandon their little babies without being seen and charged against, u're right!
can u believe it? as much as its a good life-saving attempt, its too much an easy way out for irresponsible mums. according to the Rome hospital, theres always an act of love behind the abandonment. mhhm. not always true huh. :( i would never give my baby away..

next news, 'first they fight them, now they friend them'. haha. u know i know ah.
US wants to befriend their enemies and help save them.
i dont really like condoleeeza, but i hope something good comes out of this.
at the same time, the friction between the sunnis n shiites is aggravating. sad la. saaaaad. haii.. but we'll never stop hoping for the miracle, wont we?

next news is closer to home.. timor leste. (xanana gusmaoo~~ mari alcatiiiiri~~..hahaha.)
in case u all didnt know, timor leste was a part of indonesia till 1999. life wasnt/isnt easy there.
go read up abt it ok. i promise their political struggle is more worth knowing compared to anuar's sodomy. hahahha..k no offence.
anw, ignorantly, i thought things are getting better there but true to form its not easy to create a new state. even after almost 8yrs.
i suddenly thought of the 'shanana' guy in my sea politics class last sem. full of disappointment and slight animosity, he told us that his country nvr really gotten any international help.
to think that they are a part of SEA..maybe we can send more than peacekeeping teams? or are we too busy with the ir...haha.
