this morning i made my way to the post office to collect my mail.
so as i was waitin for the post office lady to retrieve my mail, i contemplate the possibilities...
when i saw the box, the first thing i saw was the 'australia bentley post office'.
now which of my secret admirers in austr send this to me? (ok. perasan.)
then i saw the label on the box: toy car model. and also the handwriting.
i know who's that from!
when it comes from him, expect the unexpected.
hahhaa. i couldnt help smiling like a madcow at the counter.
what a crazy present seh! its chevrolet camaro model. if only its the REAL thing. hahah.
man.. i've always had this little plan to buy a toy car, like those hot wheels type, but i nvr had the spare money to do so. if only i had known he was getting me that, i'd request for a..mhmm.. porsche boxster? or cadillac eldorado? vintage crysler ke.. ahh! lamborghini gallardo? smack that!

today was FUN!!
so fun lah.
when was the last time u spent almost the whole day with ur girlfren, in the kitchen?

i came knocking on lynn's door at ard 12 pm. i was unfortunate to have met pkm on my way there.
damn. no matter how much i wanna hide, he/she would definitely find me.
ANYWAY. lynn and i first started with our cheesecakes. obviously the chocolate addict lynn baked her chocolate cheesecake. (not chocolate cake eh fizah. :D) and i did my original one (which thankfully didnt taste like cake sujeeeee).
its really fun. like we sat in the kitchen and shouted over the grinding sounds of the blender.
and how we listened to warna. mcm makcik-makcik seh!
baking tips:
1. keep kitty out of the kitchen.
2. test the temperature of the oven by putting kitty near it.
3. and if kitty starts sniffing the oven too closely, it means the oven is not on.
4. bake when there are no guys ard. cos they, like kitty, are nosy too.
5. bake with as little mess as possible and put on an apron if u need to.


after that, lynn thot the whole kitchen affair was over. but no sayang. not over yet!
cos her guest began complaining and whining of hunger.
so we got back to the kitchen and cooked dinner!
we took many dubious photos of ourselves. teruk seh.
but in the end, we manage to whip up two dishes. black pepper prawn and kobis masak mcm gitu-gitu.
cooking tips:
1. always explore all tupperwares.
2. cook with a mindset that everything will turn out good and no one will know even if it doesnt.
3. keep kitty away.
4. dont take ingredients in someone else's kitchen without checking with the owner. cos some stuffs are solely for decoration (and not consumption) purposes.
5. serve the dishes in nice corelle dishware.
6. take kental pictures only after the completion of cooking.
YAY!

anyway, i just got a singpost letter. apparently i have a BULKY ITEM waiting for me at the post office. and as if its not bad enough that i dont know who sent it, its saturday tmr and sunday the day after. 2 days of being anxious/excited.

i think i have half decided that im going for a holiday with lynn, fizah and besse.
it'll be a super budget trip cos all of us are not anak orang kaya. but im really excited.

i went watch-searching last nite as the father told me to do so. its a birthday present tt im supposed to get for myself. well its really sad to know that all the watches i like are beyond the budget. :( i've been wanting to get a chronograph since ages but they didnt have many for ladies. now that they do, its so expensive!! i know the functions seem complicated and all, but i dont get it WHY IT SHOULD BE THAT EXPENSIVE! i dont want a normal analog cos its so boring. *cerewet*

i met up with kak sha yesterday. its nice meeting her! (:

today was so funny. firstly lynn and i waited very long for tired fizah at chinese garden station. but the wait was worth it. heh. so the 3 of us headed to chi garden. that place is very pretty and there're many lucky banglas who dont have to work at the contruction site. its really fun taking pictures and perspiring like..whateverrrr. oh and we cut the anti-climax birthday cake. nice. not bad..lynn baked kat prima deli. heh! YAY! its really fun! (: thank you babes!

*and i WILL NEVER forget the badak that burped without giving any alarm!*

so its my birthday on the 16th. gosh i feel old. but im thankful for everything i have. thanks Allah. alhamdulillah (: its not a big deal but its really nice to celebrate it. hehe

i am feelin real good right now. at last, after months of trying to find time to fix my desktop, i somehow found it today! which is rather amazing given that i jus got back home and im soo tired.

anyway, thats not the point really. to be exactly exact, the point here is.. i went thru my picture folder and saw many old-times pictures. and soo.. im gonna post the pics here.
beware. some of the pictures were taken say 1, 2 yrs ago, so theres high chance that ur faces ( if they're in the pics) will look kental and hair looks flat or whatever. haha.

it feels great to wake up in the morning knowing that (the borrowed) today is ALL mine.
i've finished my third book this holiday. the last one was madras on rainy days. this book happens to be not so bloody popular like other bloody popular books that are all on loan. nevertheless, its still VERY good. i didnt know what its about until i started reading it. anyway, its about this Indian girl, Layla, who migrated to USA and came back to India to get married to her arranged groom. its so complicated (like any tamil movie, only this one is in english and no unnecessary sound effects and dance scenes where the nenek of the family dances with the appa of the other family). its the kind of story where you thought the pain had ended where it stopped. but no. the author is so smart to play around with our expectations, hence the continous shock as u flip the pages. although the ending was far from what i thought it would be, i felt a sense of relief, knowing that thats exactly what Layla had wanted. all the initial happiness and hopes were merely a facade to conceal the irreparable truth.
well if theres one thing i learnt from this story, its that your life is your choice. others can shape you into who they want. others can plan your past, present and future. others can say anything about you. they can do anything but if u cling on to ur pride, they cant take anything from you.

now lets move on to the new read: the marsh birds.

and. i finally bought my jeans! $19.90 per pair seh!! haha. tak ke murah gila tuuu? i was kinda shocked when i saw the price tag. but who cares, i bought du! dua!

alright after that i headed to AMK hub to catch die hard 4.0 with ahem-ahem.

man this movie is worth all my $9.50. die hard series nvr failed me and of course this one is no exception.
well anw, i was hoping maggieq q's role didnt end too early. cos she's hot and i'd love to see some demi moore-ish stunts like those in charlie's angels. u know, the tight shirt tight pants long hair stunts. but too bad, she died in the elevator channel.at last! after being rammed down through countless walls. woops!
ANYWAY. this time round, bruce willis defeated all the thinkable superheroes. hands down! even the silver surfer, u'll see why. you dont even need an FBI squad or any anti-terrorist units or the us army fighter jets. u just need one john mcClaine. and of course, the cute computer geeek. oh and a super-powered volmer. heh.

and watching tt movie has made me wonder, anything that we believe to be true, can be a fake. simulation. created to mislead powerless ppl like us. like the 911 attack! u know, we are made to believe that some muslim extremists group launched the whatever air traffic hijack. we are made to believe that the al-qaeda exists. for all u know, all these are fake! and some arab-looking guy named ho sammy ben layden has been paid millions of dollar to grow beard and assume his osama character. right? u never know!
and whenever the aljazeera station shows masked terrorist culling heads, for all u know, its a visual trick. and those slaughtered US marines or ill-fated journalists are actually fake. u know, like in prison break. like agent kellerman or terence steadman.
well the bottom line is, what is real?
i guess we just need to have a little faith. haha.

its about how people change when they've got a boyfriend/girlfriend. dont u ever wonder?

a few of them were frm njc, and then joining nus. my juniors!! haha. and one of them is cikgu jam's daughter. what a small world eh.

last night i received a sad news. my friend's dad passed away. innalillahi wainnalillahi raaji'uun.

last night i thought about death, yet again, before i hit the sack, tho i've been told many times not to do so..

and so today, i have until 7pm to goyang kaki at home! YESSS!
im so tired.

one. i wanna get new pairs of jeans. dreadfully, those i saw are either expensive or uncouthly small waisted.
i wonder how anyone could get those tiny sized jeans to go pass their thighs. i wonder how i wonder why seh.

two. im still thinkin if i shd get the guess riviera satchel i saw moons ago. BUT. guess is becoming such a kental nyonya2, makcik2 and kakak2 fashion. haha. (yeah i still consider myself adik2.heh) i mean really, why cant they just stick to bonia and carlo rino, right lynn?

three. im spendin too much time brushing my teeth and gums and all over my buccal cav lately. and i have a secret guilt that i spent a tad too much for my appointment last wk. but i just LOVE being under the hands of a (handsome) dentist. haha. k kidding. im plannin to go for bleaching. but that can wait nongnong.

four. i want an slr cam.

five. i cannot imagine myself having a boyfriend. and my bestfren said

firstly, its nice seeing yc after so long. hah. he always look cute.
secondly, i just love the f16 formation and the apache doing its bow.. it'll be nice if they kinda fly through the cbd buildings. u know, like in the movies.
thirdly, i finally got to see this saf tank. i think its called bionix 2 or something. mcm cool gitu!
fourthly, i finally saw a chinook in action in reality. (normally i see them in action in my dreams)
fifthly, the super high speed, god-knows-what boats were whoa! and the doughnut manouvre was like so action-movie like. of course i got excited and jakun-ed.
sixthly, i feel that this yrs ndp is excessively full of military-capabilities display.
seventhly, maybe its to discreetly threaten the potential terrorists. hmm.
eightly, the concert part is so draggy. soo draggy. ZZZzzzZZZzzzz.
ninethly, the seats were comfortable. (:
tenthly, bring some potpourri or air freshner if u're gg for the parade, in case the guy in front of u smell like a stale storeroom.

had my first jurong east tuition today. YAY. and i got carried away. so it was a 3.5hrs tuition.
